A Bedtime Story
Once upon a time a wonderful girl got her dream job right out of college, it was for little money but worth doing what her passion was for. Two years later she finds out that she's on the radar of getting canned ... and she doesn't care.
I got canned 3 1/2 years ago. As it turns out it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have been happy a my new job for 3 years now. Best of Luck!
Jobs are a strange phenomenon. One day it looks hopeless and the next day the worm turns and everything is good again. Then another day things look better than ever and the hammer falls. Stick with it and do your best. Good things happen to people that do their best; and then if you do get canned at least you leave knowing you did your best.
Stick with it, things will either get better or you will find a better job.
I'm a long time Milwaukee resident who has struggled with relationships (haven't we all) and trying to figure out exactly who I am and what I want to become. The recent economy has left me heartbroken over a job and hopelessly trying to find out what my next step is. I write because it's sometimes the only place where I can seek solice in a crazy world.
